We spent a few hours exploring Ulva Island and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Matt our guide was both informative and amusing which made for a great visit. We did not see a kiwi but we did see some saddleback birds which are also rare. We can thoroughly recommend this tour. More

Went on guided walk with Ulva to the bird sanctuary. She is welcoming, genuine and extremely knowledgable. Saw a great range of birds including two morepork owls- very special. Learning about the history of Ulva Island and the flora is just as good as the bird watching. Highly recommended tour. More

Ulva Island is fantatsic for birdwatching. The water taxi over can be a little hair raising if the weather is bad but it's well worth a visit. More
