What a wonderful experience this trip was- as well as learning more about the history of the island, and where the settlers first came, we saw an abundance of wildlife- before we even stepped food on Ulva island! A pair of little blue penguins swam alongside us for a short while, and stopping to feed the Mollymawks was wonderful too....

An on-board nature guide provides commentary throughout the cruise and leads a 45 minute walk through part of the Ulva Island. This island is home to abundant birdlife, including some of New Zealand’s most rare and precious plant species.
