“A great way to see the Island and learn about its history”

With the delighful and knowledgeable Kylie as our guide we set of on a very informative tour around Stewart Island, and enjoyed it very much. 1.5 hours seems the perfect amount of time to see some of the harder to reach places on the Island (when you're based in accomodation in Oban, anyway!), such as Observation point and the chain... Took this tour in November 2009. Had Graheme as our guide who was brilliant from start to finish. His narration was second to none & really made the tour both interesting & informative. No part of the tour was rushed and he readily answered any & all questions the people on the tour threw at him. The tour is suitable... More
