Had a great time at Onsen. We booked a candlelight package and it was very romantic, sadly it was a cloudy night but it didn't detract from the luxury of having your own private hot tub. Staff were also very friendly, great to have a pick up service from town. more
This is a great facility, with very friendly staff in a beautiful setting. It was very relaxing to sit in our own private hot pool, with the "garage door" up - with a stunning view as the sun went down. We can't recommend this highly enough! more
Don't be put off by the look of the buildings at the roadside and carpark area when you come to visit Onsen Hot Pools. Keep on going and walk on down the many many steps to arrive at a friendly and welcoming destination. After reading tripadvisor we booked a candlelight package. We arrived at sunset to see the view. It was pure heaven. As the sun set, the candles flickered brighter. The hot pools are in secluded private rooms where you can get changed, have a shower and enjoy the pool all to yourselves. After you finish there are change rooms with hair... more
A wonderful experience even for my husband who avoids baths/spas/pools etc at all costs. Private, sparklingly clean and deliciously relaxing but the clincher is those fabulous views. World class! more
Best hot pools I have been to! Private & the view is gorgeous. Lovely to go at night. Great to have private shower & changing area in your room. more

Absolutely lovely place. I never really enjoy having a bath, but the view for the individual pool room is just spectacular, makes the bathing time much more enjoyable. Make sure you book your session during the day light hours and if you are lucky enough you might be able to catch the shotover jet zooming past infront of you. So... more

We rang and booked a hot tub the night before. The owner came and picked us up and was really helpful and nice. Staff were really good. The hot tub was organised as soon as we got there. Grabbed some towels and got straight to it. Hot tubs were a great temperature after a few days of skiing and boarding.... more
