This place is amazing. Views, staff and spas were all the best of quality. We were in room 2 and ordered a pamper pack which included two towels, chocolate, two very nice lemon, lime & bitters and an oil burner. We stayed a hour and that was plenty of time to be in the warm water. FYI they provide hair... More

8 of us visited. Took out two pools between us. $280 in total. Great view and overall experience really happy. Only disappointment was not being able to have a beer with a group of mates whilst in the pool. Apparently people faint so no alcohol... Apart from champagne.

We had a lovely time at the Onsen Hot Pools recently. Our driver picked us up from The Station and drove us to the Onsen. He was very friendly and chatted to us on the drive about some of the locations we were passing (Edith Cavell bridge for example) and talked to us about some of Queenstown's history- he was... More

Me and my wife went with our two boys (3&7) to the pool after a long day at Queenstown. It was beautiful and relaxing experience. We had been there in the night so missed the view. I would recommend to go at daylight if going with kids and they have free kids entry before 3 pm.

Take nothing but yourselves! Private spa rooms with one glass roller door that goes right back into the ceiling leaving the pool open to the sky, and stars - our friends got snow even! Can be served a baby champagne with a delectable ice-cream pottle, and they can add candles around the room for real romance. Can also be shared... More

This place was great. Private onsen pool, with electric rollover window over looking the river. Perfect way to spend a wet and miserable day in Queenstown relaxing after a few days of skiing. I urge you if you're unable to get through to make a booking continue to try, we'll worth the three attempts we made.

Easy to book and cater for what we wanted. Great staff at reception. We booked for an hour and a half as recommended by other reviewers and definitely enjoyed that as the first hour went by very quickly. Only downside was that this was not communicated between reception and the pool staff so our alarm went off after 45mins instead... More

We had not been to the Onsen Hot Pools last time we visited. We are so glad we discovered it through friends this time. This place is the perfect end to any skiing holiday, to ease away the new muscles you have discovered. It is also a relaxing and peaceful option for people just wanting something soothing and luxurious to... More

Booked the pools for a late night session so my partner and I could see the stars. Definitely worth the extra for the Candlelight package and Indulgence (aromatherapy, wine, ice cream). The pools were hot ! But able to cool down with a jet of hot water if needed. They also have spa capability which was lovely. The views were... More
