As the title suggests it was really good fun but the price is a little to much and there are much better value for money activities to be had in town
I was really excited to do this on my last day but was very disappointed. There's a 10 minute coach ride from the centre to the jet in unnecessarily fancy buses which they have too many of. The ride itself isn't too exciting and is more uncomfortable and freezing cold - they do provide gear and lockers for you but... More
Often when a company gets really big you think you might be in for an average experience but I was happily proven wrong. It was so easy, hop on a bus which comes every 15 minutes, jump on a boat and hang on. Loved my first ride so much I quickly signed up for the discounted second ride. This time... More
We had Dan the driver was pretty funny! Proper good thrills go on shallow water past rocks at 85kph what's not to like!! The spins were quality and made us scream like pansies. Good stuff would do again!

Totally fun an exciting... beyond my expectations... Only thing I found cheesy was when I was reprimanded by one of the workers for taking a picture of the $25 dollar picture of myself that I did not want to purchase. Seriously, wouldn't these tour companies sell a lot more pictures and make a ton more profit if the picture was... More
It was quite fun, though not as exciting as I hoped it would be. But, good experience nevertheless. I do love that we got to see the gorge and some people still trying their luck by panning for gold by the river.
This was simply the most fun. We had heard that this is much better than the K2 jet boat. That leaves from Queenstown and has to go all the way out from Queenstown Harbour. The Shotover is based at Arthur's Point and is the only one going up the canyon. Cannot reommend this enough!!
This is just something you need to do if you're in Queenstown. It doesn't take long so you can do it in addition to something else when you plan your days. We opted for the $19 repeat and were able to get on after a short wait. It allowed us to grab a quick coffee and beer while we waited.... More
