Great fun, a must do for all travelers to Queenstown, young and old. The jetboat does scoot along surprisingly close to the cliffs but it's great fun and beautiful viewing. Rug up though, it does get chilly in that canyon.

This was a great way to see even more of the beauty of NZ combined with a bit of adrenaline. Fine and not scary for our 9 year old too ( there was a 7 year old on there too), you don't get (very) wet and you see the gorges and canyons from really close up. Don't be tempted by... More

Conveniently close to Queenstown, well organised, feel like you are in safe hands. Our kids (8-14) loved it, as did the adults. The winchill is intense so wearing a hat is highly recommended (obviously one that isn't going to fly off easily...the woolly beanie style works well) and also a scarf. They spin the boats a few times so take... More

This is the second time my family have done this. The kids were only 5 and six last time, now 18 and 20. The staff were very nice and communicative. The drivers obviously very skilled. Apart from thrilled at doing 360's every five minutes or so, seriously I loved it, the scenery and history of the canyon is great. If... More

Really enjoyed the jetboat ride, it was a cracking way to start our trip in Queenstown. Dress warmly as it does get cold especially early morning/late afternoon.

After a little hesitation, I made myself get out of my comfort zone and got in the jet boat. What an awesome experience!! I am so glad I did it. At 60 years of age and with mild physical disability, I was scared I was not going to be able to get in and out of the boat but with... More

Oh my goodness this was fun! Very professionally run and felt safe at all stages, the driver was amazing. If going in winter, be warned the wind chill is similar to being on a chairlift!!! Wear a big jacket, beanie and gloves. Be ready to get wet!

A 25-minute journey through the spectacular, narrow Shotover River. Jam-packed with 360° turns and with your driver taking you closer to the rocks than you thought possible, the Shotover Jet is a must-do activity!
