I always go to Vesta when in Queenstown and always love it. I have noticed over the years that they are often the first place that I see a particular range that later becomes popular everywhere. Knick knacks and jewellery for less than $100 and art works for a bit more. Funky and retro rather than cutsie and twee.

There are very few stores as unique as this one and I regret my visit having to be so short since I had other commitments. A great cottage right by the water's edge with lots of beautifully presented speciality products.

This wee cottage is probably missed by many people - myself included - as I've visited Queenstown many times over the years. It's very quaint and each room has an undefined theme. There is certainly plenty of variety and they stock some genuine kiwi-made products.

Vesta in Williams Cottage on the waterfront is a great place to pop into. The original wallpaper still hangs in some room and the history of the place can be seen on wall signs in the hallway. This all sets off some great art - prints, originals, ceramics, homeware, jewellery - all very tempting!

Nice, Nice stuff here. Can it be bought elsewhere?, dont know, dont care. Loved the presentation. Set in a tiny end of the century cottage (I think) , just loved wandering through the rooms anyway.

We purchase something different every year at this awesome shop. You will never see gifts curios art anywhere like this place has anywhere else. From ceramics to wood to jewellery at reasonable prices and they ship

I came because my Lonely Planet advised it. The building is fantastic (1864, Queenstown's oldest home), and the pieces are of high quality. I purchased a lovely cheeseboard and knife made on the West Coast of South Island, in a beautifully grained honeysuckle wood. Also a little oil dish. Have to say though, the two ladies serving were the highlight... More

I love Vesta, it is a great little gallery with amazing gifts and artists work. Over the last few years of coming to Queenstown I have purchased something from here every time. This time around I found a beautiful piece and went to ask the lady serving a few questions. I have to say she was the most disinterested rude... More

What a great little shop right on the lake front. Local artists and retro bits and pieces inside the oldest cottage in Queenstown. Lovely service. You could easily spend some time poking around in the little rooms.
