Surrounded by a rugged and majestic landscape, our stunning Winery building has won international awards and accolades for its design and construction, which evokes the wingspan of a Peregrine (native falcon or Karearea) as it glides on thermal air rising from the heated land.Peregrine is a boutique, artisan producer of a premium range of wines that focus on Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay. It is a brand that since the first vintage has gain reputation both domestically and internationally as one of New Zealand’s iconic wine brands.Come and visit us at the Cellar Door every day from 10am-5pm. We trust that you will leave with fond memories of both our winery and our fabulous wines. « less

Friendly people and consistently yummy wine. The rose is perfect- too bad it's seasonal! Also, one of the few places in QTown with free tasting. You get more than you pay for!!

Visited with another couple and really enjoyed the tasting experience. Beautiful venue and we really liked the barrel room just behind the main 'bar'. Favourite was the Reisling which was not too sweet like many out there.

We were very impressed by the wines we tasted at Peregrine & struggled to choose a favourite. The tasting room is in a fantastic, interesting modern building. Would definitely recommend wine tasting at Peregrine. There is no fee for the tasting.

The wines were great. The sales lady knew a bit about wines and a bit about falcons but absolutely nothing about food.

We arrived at the tasting room when there were a couple of wine tour vehicles in the parking lot. Even though there were lots of people tasting wine, we felt like we got very personalized service from the knowledgable server. The wines were top notch and we were sorry to only be able to purchase 4 bottles. Silly airline and... More

thoroughly enjoyed tasting the Peregrine Wines with Rebecca who really knew her stuff, as well as looking around their stunning Winery building. They didn't have any of their Chardonnay available to taste (the staff have drunk it all!) but fortunately we were able to sample it when we stayed in Twizel, at Shawteys Restaurant, and it was indeed very good.... Escorted an overseas visitor on a wine tasting tour from Queenstown out to the Gibbston Valley and Bannockburn, near Cromwell (epicentre of world class pinot noir). Starting at the lovely setting of Chard Farm winery overlooking the Kawarau River, we enjoyed a crisp white pinot gris and a striking pinot noir. After gadding about further afield we ended the day... More

My husband and I were spending our honeymoon in Queenstown and we decided to do some wine tasting in the local region. We were told by several people the we needed to check out Peregrine Wines. When we pulled up we saw a beautiful pond with a amazing architectural building in the background. Once we were in the tasting room,... More

Ultra modern setting compared to the other wineries in the area. The staff was gracious and kind. Their wines were above average. A must visit if you are a wine lover.
