My experience with Coronet Peak Tandem Paragliding and Hang Gliding was brilliant. We drove up to the Coronet peak, which turns into a ski field in winter. From there you can enjoy the beautiful views while your instructor gets all the gear ready. 10 minutes later we were running off the peak and gliding through the air like a bird.... More

We saw the paragliders from the ground whilst driving around Queenstown and decided to try it. Coronet peak pilots were great, on the bus they were really informative, ensuring you had all the facts and were confident it was safe, there wasn't too much hanging around up at the peak, but the glide itself was amazing, it lasted about 15... After cancelling the original booking (at short notice) it was rescheduled for another day. For starters it did not leave from the top of Coronet Peak as promised, it left from the base camp car park, which significantly shortened the flight duration (10-15 mins) - no discount was offered for this.
