Shops, restaurants and activities found here. Nice place to stroll and shop. Little places to eat worth a look.
Nice to stroll along the brick road of Queenstown mall accompanied with soothing music. We got our souvenirs from the souvenir shops here (prices much cheaper than the souvenir shop at the Skyline tower) - but do take note that prices vary at different shops even if they are selling the same item. So look out for great deals before... More
Good for a nice stroll early in the morning before an afternoon tour or in the evening. Plenty of restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating in the summer. Some of the shops can be very expensive but a few are reasonably priced and they stay open late in the summer with the extra daylight hours. The piano man is definitely... More
The Queenstown Mall is a brick pedestrian walkway vaguely reminiscent of another all-season resort town, Aspen, Colorado. Stores and restaurants here are more affordable, though.
You would mostly walk through the lanes to get to a jet boat ride or perhaps to steamers wharf. The entire road with stores on both sides look really nice. You might also be lucky if you could catch Mathias the piano man playing around. The nearby lawns, fergburger and cookie time are a must do.
When in Queenstown , you will not miss out on this place. You mostly walk thru this place to catch a ferry or dine. Not much to shop and the shops close quite early. But yes if u love food, there are quite a number of place u can hang out. Don't miss sitting on the shores of Lake Wakatipu... More
The best shops are those specialising in NZ goods, especially anything off the back of a sheep. We did visit the cinema to see "Hobbit 2" in 3D - but only because the non-digital bits of the movie were filmed in the area. The middle of the mall has outdoor seating at the bars and cafes and restaurants as well... More
After a wonderful dinner at Cows Place, we enjoyed walking down the mall outside. A lot of variety of stores and beautiful sweaters. We bought one.. So much activity going on in the evening there!
Mall is small but good for a stroll and browse in the shops. A few touristy shops there to buy souvenirs. Cinema in the mall as well as eateries. One visit is probably enough.
