Nice way to taste many wines from area with out traveling to them. Still suggest small producer tours as they are not for sale in most stores but this is a good start. Larry was really nice and informative. The price can rack up fast so watch yourself. 80 plus wines to taste, cheese boards to eat. Good times and... More

You get a $30 prepay card which is used to insert into the wine machines. I found that the portions are good. Each taste is definitely more than just a few sips. Staff had a thorough understanding of wine and we appreciated that he even knew a lot of history in regards to Hungarian wine-making in the Tokaji region. Very... More

This is one seriously cool place to taste wine, with dozens ready to taste and the ability to purchase a bottle right there in the store. Big leather arm chairs and great interior design make it hard to leave on a cold night. More

My wife and I found this place by accident while exploring Queenstown on our honeymoon last week. It's brilliant. I don't drink wine, but we managed to find 2 that think I could probably handle drinking a full glass of. And they had spirits. I would love to see somewhere like this near me....actually, no I wouldn't! Brilliant way to... More

Found this place by accident and staggered out an hour or so later having tried loads of different wines. The wine dispensers are great - ok not the cheapest - but this is the place to sample wines, not go on the lash. Your card tracks all the wines you have tried and you can obtain a print out when... We went after dinner and leisurely tried many types of wine. It was a nice option since we didn't go to wineries in the area but wanted to have a peek at the South Island specialties. I wish they had the wine tasting machines in the states because it was so fun. I loved it and the Welsh guy working... More

Probably wouldn't have tried this normally but got a voucher on bookme.co.nz which gave about 40% off. The shop is very cosy and welcoming and it's fun to try the different wines. We also had a cold meats and bread platter and relaxed with a fill from the middle button! They have a good selection, and I was tempted by... More
