I loved the trails! Not only were the flowers beautiful but the trees were fantastic! I couldn't get over the variety of trees and how majestic and beautiful they were. The trail winds around a lake so nice water views also. I really loved all of Queenstown!

Good views of Queenstown. We enjoyed walking around the gardens on our last morning. The gardens are very close to the town and also very historic, being set up by the first settlers in the area.

We spent a most enjoyable morning walking along the lakeside through the park. My husband even went for a paddle in the crystal clear water! Away from the water's edge we came across a memorial garden to all the climbers who had lost their lives in Antartica. There was also a lovely rose garden, tennis courts,a frisbee throwing area and very... More

The sweet wee pond with the stone bridge provides a calm spot to watch ducks and water lilies when you need to wind down from frenetic activity. Walk around the edge of the lake, play frisbee golf or just sniff the roses and talk.

The path along the water is stunning. The gardens are also quite lovely and well maintained. If you want something more active, play frisbee golf through the forest. There us also an ice skate park there. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful views of the mountains from the shore as the sun sets. Get there at dusk. A photographers dream.

To calm down from the adrenaline-filled activities (and save some money!) spend some time at the beautiful QT gardens. It is a lovely size for a walk, filled with well kept gardens, flowers and trees. It looks out over the lake and there are stunning lakeside views too. There are also tennis courts and green bowls (which we tried out,... More
