There was not much to see when we walked through, probably because of the season. Is a nice garden to stroll in. Lovely views of the lake and township.

The gardens have a spectacular setting, with the town on one side, the Remarkable Mountains behind Deer Hill on the other and surrounded by Lake Wakatipu. The paths are pretty well maintained and the flora is lovely.

Very nice gardens, beautiful trees, one spot with the little bridge and water looked just like a Monet painting. Be sure to take your picture under the sculpture of the silver fern; a symbol associated with New Zealand.
