This is a lovely small garden near the lake. Nice for a stroll or a bike ride. It has some amazing looking trees with lovely views over the water. Take a picnic but bring something warm. I was there in their summer and the wind off the lake was quite chilly.

Great for just a walk though or for a little relaxing if you want a spot that quieter than the beach. Beautiful plants and landscaping and a great disc golf course to boot, plus a skate park and ice arena. Couldn't as for much more.

If I had this near where I live I would play daily! I did basically play daily for 2 weeks while in queenstown, its a great pass time and you can have a beer or two along the way! Its also a fun bit of competition between friends in a relaxed way!! Personal best was -1 on the round!

Getting to the gardens is a nice, easy walk from downtown. At a leisurely pace, you could walk around the entire area in 45 minutes. There are beautiful views of downtown Queenstown and the Skyline gondola area. Once you get to the other side of the island, you're left with an unimpeded view of the Remarkables. Additionally there is a... More

Pretty place but nothing more to see other than a small pond with ducks in it and a rose garden. The garden was pretty ordinary in comparison to the botanical garden in Christchurch.

It is a nice plce to hang out with your friends and spend time playing frisbee golf! I would recommend people who visit queenstown to play frisbee golf here. Its about 1 hour activity.

The best garden we have ever seen. The garden is big, very colourful and has a great view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Very good for morning exercise and it is located only 100 meter away from where we stayed so we will have no excuse to not go exercising.

Walk to the end of the garden and that is where you can watch both sunset and sunrise. For Photographers, lots of pictures to take just in the garden itself.
