Had a great morning walking through the gardens on a brisk, early spring morning. Even though some things were not in bloom due to the time of year, the landscaping/flowers/shrubs/trees were breathtaking. Can only imagine it in later spring/summer. Able to walk up to it from a couple spots after walking along side Lake Wakatipu on a nice little trail.... More

Great for a nice free walk. Take some frisbees for the free frisbee golf, looked like lots of fun. We Took a couple of drinks and sat on the side of the lake it was great!

This garden was in it's spring glory when we visited, it was a lovely sunny day so it was nice to take a leisurely stroll around. The track along the lake is nice, we noticed people playing frizzbie golf which looked like fun. Great photo opportunities from this side of the peninsula.

Enjoyed it. Short, late afternoon walk but lovely view of the mountains. Popped in the the ice-scating rank.

Took a walk here after breakfast and was not disappointed. The garden overlooks the bay and queenstown area, and lake watatipu. Its full of nice trees and flowers and the photo opportunity for the mountain peaks through the trees are great. Good place to burn off the breakfast or lunch.

Lovely place to do nothing or attempt frisbee golf. Would look mad with snow. Ice skating rink in there too.

Some very pretty flowers to see and Frisbee golf was fun! Lots of great places for photos. Best to see it on a Segway unless you have the time to walk through it.

This is a most scenic location. Entry is free, the area is beautifully maintained and offers a most beautiful and peaceful location to while away an hour or two. The memorials, including to Scott and his team who perished returning from the Antarctic are truly impressive.

Really pretty walk. We went here at the start of September and it was so nice and sunny. The lake was very beautiful and still, giving perfect reflections. Just watch out for the Frisbee players!
