The afternoon delight experience (name of the tour they offer) was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Friendly and comedic instructor safely lead us down the sound at a relaxed pace, stopping for photos and key sights. If you like the outdoors, this is only way to see Milford Sound. All the gear was provided and was in good... More

We did a couple different kayaking trips in New Zealand, and this was the best one by far. What an amazing place to kayak, first and foremost - the scenery takes your breath away. Most importantly - it didn't feel nearly as difficult as I anticipated. Both my wife and I have been kayaking before, and are in decent shape... More

Rosco's Milford kayaks is a good way to see the fiords in Milford sound. We enjoyed being visited by seals and dolphins around our kayaks . We could also go a lot closer to the majestic cliffs. It was so stunning and it has left special memories . Tip - heaps of options choose the right skill level for your... More

We took the Afternoon Delight. It wasn't the easiest trip in the world, but was a wonderful way to see the fjord. At one point we bound our kayaks together, formed a sail, and coasted for a couple kilometers. Very cool!

A really good way to see Milford Sound. We were lucky to also see dolphins. Just awesome. A couple of seals sitting on the rocks. So all those things were within a couple of meters. Awesome experience

This was one of the most incredible things I have done in my life. We di the sterling sun-riser in April. Not only is the sense of scale of Milford incomprehensible but viewing from a kayak is simply stunning. Our guide was fantastic, interesting, supportive. To top it off the local wildlife was out to play and we kayaked close... More

The weather wasn't ideal during our trip, but it was still a wonderful experience. Rosco's had a tent like structure set up as a changing area with a nice heater, and they provided all equipment necessary. Despite the cold and rain, I was warm and comfortable. Of course the sound itself is majestic.

I have done many of the 'must do' activities in Queenstown and the surrounds, I have enjoyed them all for different reasons but this is by far my favourite!! We had an amazing day on the water, supposedly it's winter, but it was a clear beautiful sunny day (although I know that Milford in the rain is just as magical).... More

Kayaking in Milford Sound (it's actually a fjord, not a sound!) really shows you how immense it is. You are literally paddling right next to 300 meter (or higher? I don't remember) cliffs. The water, cliffs, mountains, and foliage were beautiful. Our guide, Tim, was easy-going, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to.

My partner and I went out a few days ago on the Sunriser classic. After a few weeks of rain in Queenstown we had our fingers crossed for a clear day, but as luck would have it we woke up to low clouds and lots of rain. Despite the dreary day we still had a fantastic time exploring the Sound... More
