Enjoyed this trip although it was raining and the day was miserable. Took the whole day tour from Qtown. You do really need a brilliant day to enjoy the tour as most of the places we stopped with the bus was not very helpful in wet weather. The cruise however was the opposite as wet weather makes the waterfalls that... More

We did a day kayaking tour around Milford Sound and it was amazing! We got the lunch portion of it was well and we were very happy with it. They provided coffee and snacks throughout the day along with great information abo0ut the sound, animals and everything! I almost booked with Roscoes, and have heard very good things about them,... not that lucky to get a sunny wheather instead of a raining & cloudy day. the water falls are great! need to pay extra to the (walkway) underwater just to see a few tiny fish and corals. was on high expectations to see some dolphins jumping out but to despair luck was not on our side.a bit disappointed! but the... We decided to do a trip to the Milford Sound while staying in Queenstown. On a recommendation we decided upon Real Journey's Nature Cruise with the option of a coach trip to the Sound and a air flight return to Queenstown. The trip was well organized and started with a pick-up via Taxi at our B&B. We were tipped off... More

My husband and I had a terrific time on our Milford Fjord cruise. We were in one of the smaller craft, the day was sunny and warm, and the views terrific. Make sure to take some insect repellant for the time spent before/after on the fjord shore. More

We did the Nature Cruise with Real Journeys from Milford Sound at 4pm on March 5th. It was absolutely amazing. Milford Sound is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Really. We also were extremely lucky and saw fur seals, bottle nose dolphins; fordland crested penguins; albatross. But even if you're not so lucky, the 'sound' itself is... More

We were staying in Wanaka, which meant a more than 800 km round trip to Milford Sound and back. So we took a Real Journeys coach/nature cruise from Queenstown (actually a 7.45 am pickup from the Frankton bus shelter which saved us driving all the way in to Queenstown; also easy parking there). The coach was comfortable, with excellent vision... More

Was really looking forward to this trip, but although the coach journey was enjoyable the boat trip which was supposed to be the highlight was a huge let down. The boat we were supposed to be on ,so after hurring our food down we were all transfered to a different boat which had just come in from another tour,It seemed to... More

We were picked up by the coach driver in Queenstown. Unfortunately we were delayed due to our waiting for other people who were being picked up by a different coach and transferring to ours. However once n our way we were given a good commentary and saw some fantastic scenery - as seems to be the case throughout the Sth... More

Did the overnight cruise of Milford sound, loved it! Every moment was a scintillating experience in Milford sound, with the mild drizzles and the spectacular scenery, the dolphins, the angel falls experience (yes i call it an experience, not a mere view!) The cruise itself was amazing, and the room was cozy and cute. Dinner was fantastic, enjoyed it thoroughly... More
