What an amazing place. This is a donation entry and is great. We went as a group this attraction. The boys had photographs in the Fastest Indian replica. There is plenty to look at here. Including Tuatara which you can view from the inside and from the outside even if the site is closed. The staff in the café are... More

We heard good things about this place on another day tour so we wanted to investigate it, especially the display of the tuatara. That was interesting enough on its own, but the short visit was nicely completed with the very helpful staff assisting me with some gift purchases.

In the middle of the city, located next to the Queens Park, this I-site is also a Café, and Museum. A really good combination, a place where visitors can get any useful information they need while visiting Invercargill, a place for nice coffee and lunch break, but the most attractive is the Museum, Southland Museum and Art Gallery. A very... More

We had to spend about 3 hours in this place while we waited for a bus. It was raining so couldn't be bothered walking anywhere. The staff let us put our bags behind the counter, the museum side of it with live Tuatara is lovely. There is a great café and gift shopping all in one relaxing building

A little hard to find off a main road, but situated near the huge gardens in Invercargill. You can get all the info and advice you need here, including tours on Stewart Is etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The staff here were couple of older ladies who were clearly bored with their jobs!!! one of them could hardly bothered to stand up and grab us a brochure of an attraction nearby. the attitude was just not nice from either of the staff. Also one of them gave us wrong directions!!!!!!! To be honest that attraction had recently moved... More

Should be a focal point for any new visitor but they did nothing to help me explore the region. There must be more than what they were encouraging me to do.
