A beautiful church in the center of town. There is no charge to go in to view the church altar and beautiful stained glass windows.

This Church is so nice but it had a musty horrible smell to it. The little shop at the back is well priced, doesn't eft-pos but wouldn't' be worth it for them. There is a museum there which is also very interesting

We stopped for a quick peak, the architecture in and out were worth the stop. Amazingly small on the inside, the tapestry was very interesting although new.

What a treasure to have in the city. Beautiful building with stunning plate glass window. The height of the ceilings was amazing. Wish they built buildings like this today

If you are in Dunedin, Otago, and have time to spare, you should drop by the First Church of Otago. This gothic-looking old church looks very impressive on the outside. They are open for visitors and tourists to go view the church inside. Loved the stained glass windows and intricate interior decor of the church. Definitely a place to visit... More

A beautiful church, very impressive to visit. Makes for a nice change to the modern surrounds of the city.

The exhibits at the First Church really helped my understand some of the history of the settlers in the Dunedin area. Very interesting.

The churches of Dunedin echo the history of European settlement and the influence of the Scottish. This is a lovely church, a block away from the cathedral but equally as impressive. A small but informative heritage centre as well.

Built of local stone and quite a shock when new, this is a stunning, unmissable edifice in Dunedin. Well worth a visit.
