We really enjoyed this very informative tour and took the dinner and tour option. You are able to take photos on this tour and are given opportunities to do so. They have put a lot of thought and effort into this tour and it is proffesionally executed.

Very informative tour. Guide was great. Enjoyed the history and learning about the process of beer making. Great having a drink at the end in the bar.

Came as part of a tour group and spent time having an entertaining tour of the brewery and hearing about the history of Dunedin. This was followed by beer tasting.....quiet a few beers.... I am not a cider lover, however Speight's is really nice. Also your Dark Ale... Please export your beers to UK !! This was not the end... More

If you like beer and want to test out your barman skills then go on this tour! It is $28 and lasts about 2 hours. You get to walk round the brewery whilst hearing funny tales from the guides about the history to it all and then spend a good 30-40mins in the bar sampling the beer! Well worth the... More

Our knowledgeable guide brought the static exhibits to life for us and we left with a better appreciation of this part of Dunedin's history.

A very good tour and well worth the cost if only for the tasting session in the bar at the end! Would thoroughly recommend combining it with a meal in the ale house next door afterwards! Leave the kids at home (wish we did).

loved this tour - the guide was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly - the 'free' beer tasting at the end was sensational - could stay and pour your own for 30 mins or so...

I enjoyed this tour - it took about 90 minutes all up through this historic brewery. It was interesting to step back in time and see how beer had originally been brewed, and to see the evolution to the modern brewery it is today. The guide was knowledgeable and the tour went at a decent pace, with time for questions... More

This may depend upon the guide but surely they are all briefed/trained on what to include & say. Our guide was very poor and by the end of the tour it was obvious from their comments to him that the group was fed up. 1. Too many jokes which no one found funny and at times we didn't understand. 2.... More
