Hagley park is a lovely park to have a nice stroll through. It has beautiful flowers and is easy to spend lots of time there. There is plenty of space for sports. I used to cycle through on an almost daily basis and loved the scenery. It is very close to the city centre.

Hagley Park is on the edge of the devestated city centre. I was there the day before the opening of the Maori tribes gatherng and had to leave Christchurch the next day. Wished I could have stayed to see all the dancing and singing.

Hagley Park is one big massive open space which borders the Avon River and Christchurch Hospital. There is also a Rescue Helicopter landing pad at the park beside the Hospital.

Right next to the central city is over 500 acres of park land to roam and re connect with nature. Christchurch's founder fathers had amazing foresight to set this area aside which is free for all to enjoy. Hagely Golf club also has a lovely new refurbished cafe for lunch and teas.

Amazing trees, incredible variety, beautiful foliage, huge trunks . Many walkways and paths. Organized well without taking away anything from nature

A short walk from everywhere. Hagley Park is so pretty and peaceful. Needed the walk after a long drive.

We walked around this Park which is also very close to the Botanical Gardens and we loved, the treed walk ways and then the big Open Spaces, for the kids, pets and mummies and daddies to play :-)

We were lucky enough to get tickets to Te Matatini ...love love loved it. A very hot day tho.it was very well organised wuth parking wardens. Christchurch is an easy wee city to get about in and Hagley Park is great for walking, bike riding or jogging.
