Nz is blessed with plentiful of beautiful nature. Hagley park when compared to other attractions in nz pales in comparison. In fact, I had passed by many different residents' houses, many of them grow a rich variety of different flowers. But, its still worth a visit. And, its nice that they have a free museum as well.

Beautiful park in the middle of Christchurch with a flat, easy running loop separated to North and South options. This is a wonderful track for an easy hours jog, surrounded by sports fields, a museum, botanical gardens and more. There are numerous cool down offerings around the park and quiet spots to stretch. Fantastic!

This is one of my favorite places to stroll. You can spend a whole day and miss plenty. The New Zealand Garden, the Central Rose Garden, the trees from all over the world. Wonderful. Lust green space in the center of this great city. There are plenty of great places to eat near by, or sip a glass of delicious... More

Small museum but full of history, like going back 75 years. Very authentic and a lovely ride on a restored Dunedin tram, not to be missed. tudordaviesbda1.6@btinternet.com London UK.

Not having been in the city around the time of the earthquakes I now appreciate why ChCh residents feel Hagley Park is so special - it has something for everyone, and is a wonderful green oasis in the centre of the city. From the playgrounds, to soccer, rugby and cricket pitches, netball and tennis courts everyone is catered for. A... More

Nice park in the middle of the city. One part of it houses the Botanic Gardens. One part of the South Hagley Park houses the Hagley Oval, the newest international cricket venue in NZ.
