Fantastic that the tram is up and running again - goes past all the main CBD attractions. At one point it has to stop and turn around but the driver said there were plans to extend the track again as more post earthquake construction took place. Easy to get on and off at points of interest in the CBD as... More

Just go to where the trams leave from, and then walk beside the tracks, you'll see more, save yourself $10 dollars a head and you'll probably be faster too, was an absolute waste of money, the distance they cover was miniscule so they would want to fix the rest of the tracks before they decide to charge that much, avoid... This was great, we had this trip as part of our last evening in NZ after a brilliant tour. We got to see parts of the city we would have otherwise missed. Our driver also proved to be a great guide , telling us lots of interesting information. The drinks flowed and more canapés arrived ......we all had a good... More

The hop-on hop-off trams were brilliant, with entertaining comments from the drivers. It's a great way to see the city, including Quake City, the Cathedral and the Botanic Gardens.

The tram ride around the cbd was great . The driver was also tour guide & was very informative . Although sad to see the damage done to some of the beautiful buildings by the earthquake , its pleasing tosee so much work going on to restore these historical buildings to their former glory . The tram makes it easier... More

The historic trams gently meander around the centre of Christchurch while the driver gives a running commentary on what you can see as well as the earthquake damage. Each journey feels personal and every driver has something different to offer. The cost is $20 per adult for all day/multiple journies - unbeatable value.

We had a great time going around the central city area of Christchurch. We had a comedian as a driver - well, you'd think he was one, everything had a bit of a funny side or story to it. Plus he had plenty of interesting things to say as we went around the place - telling us about the history... More

Trams stop at many feature central city locations: Can ride all day on/off on one ticket. The Wizard often travels on them.

The tram does a loop of the inner city of Christchurch. The conductor gives an informative talk along the way and tells the story of the devastation of the city. It’s a hop on hop off service.
