A grand place!

Wonderful tasting experience! The tasting room hostess was witty and knowledgeable. Grounds are gorgeous. Met the owner, who was tending flower beds. Very good wines.

Sue was our hostess and she was fantastic. Knowledgable, efficient and friendly. They taste from dry to sweet rather than white to red which is easily understood once you try all the sweeter wines. There really is no going back from the Finale botrytis Semillon/SB It is great to be in a tasting room where you get the feel of... More

We absolutely loved our wine tasting experience at Pegasus Bay. The grounds on their own are worth visiting. The beautiful cellar door, the pond, the hill, the numerous birds. Beautiful courtyard where one can order some delicious food. We had a lentil dip that basically tasted like an upscale version of mashed potatoes - it was delicious! The waitress was... More

Faultless service from the loveliest waitress (young woman, red hair... give her a pay rise!) honestly the best service I have recieved anywhere, ever. Not to mention the food was to die for.

The staff member behind the tasting bar was one of the more knowledgable I have come across anywhere, and she led us on an exciting trip through the offerings of Pegasus Bay. She was aware of the most subtle variations from wine to wine, even though the grape involved was of the same variety, and offered substantial insight into why... More

Pegasus bay winery doesn't work with tour operators, so u have to book directly on your own. you can see or visit the vineyard, which is a downer. the wine tasting is a good experience...though there were not many tourists, the staffs sounded too busy. the wordings in the toilets are superb!

We visited Pegasus Winery last weekend with friends from London and the experience was superb. Staff were really attentive and friendly and with a baby in the mix we had added issues but no problem to the waiting staff. Food was fantastic , wine choices after having the wine tasting were simple and the overall ambience of the place was... More

We dropped into Pegasus Bay Winery when we had some time to kill before a wedding reception nearby. The staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, from the wine tasting, to sitting at a table on the lawns enjoying the view. The quotes on the toilet walls are classic. We left having purchased some good wines so... More

We have been to this restaurant a few times and apart from once were told we had to wait for at least an hour, however each time there were plenty of available tables, each time we left and went elsewhere. What a joke! .The staff seem to not care and the policy of the place seems to be to milk... More

The wine tasting is at no cost here and there is a nice range of good quality wines to taste. The drive out if Christchurch to get here is pretty easy and it is a very well kept and pretty garden that greats you on arrival. Heidi knew what she was doing in the cellar door and was a friendly... More
