The guide brought us around the zoo to see the feeding of various animals from morning to dusk. Great job. Except for a quick lunch while his assistants took over for a while, he was always sharing with us loads of information about each animals. There seems to be experts for each type of animals, as our guide will hand... more

The primary reason for my visit to the park was to experience the feeding of the lions. You're driven through their enclosure in a cage on the back of a truck. It was worth every penny to get that close to the lions. The keeper has a bucket of meat in the cage and the lions know this of course.... more

This is not a big zoo. It is quite spread out for its size however there is a tractor ride around. TIP: you will be given a list of the feeding times of animals which basically follows a circuit around the zoo. Follow the zoo keepers around feeding the animals and it makes the zoo a whole lot more interesting.... more

We really enjoyed our visit here-it's very well set out with extremely friendly staff and volunteers who are very well informed-their talks about the different animals were terrific. The animals all looked very well cared for and happy. The highlight was being able to hand feed giraffes-my 16 & 12 year old sons were thrilled to do this. We would... more
