We spent a lovely day walking through the gardens. Everything was so beautiful. Don't miss the azaleas! Also, the cafe inside the gardens has the best coffee in NZ! more

Christchurch Botanic Gardens are a wonderful place to stroll through and relax after touring the city. There are many places to picnic and benches to sit on. The Avon River goes through the gardens also, so it is a convenient place to tour while you are waiting to go punting. more
