What an amazing place. One of those places you visit once only I'd imagine, but I found it very cool. More

We enjoyed the couple of hours we spent here with our 2.5 year old son. There were a couple of planes to get in and touch for some photo opportunities. The staff are polite, friendly and enjoy what they do. Plenty of space to look around and great to get up and close to the planes and enjoy their beauty... More

This is a fascinating museum, a couple of hours minimum is needed to enjoy it. There are moving details of the bravery of Kiwi Airforce staff from the earliest days of flying, and the behind the scenes tour is excellent. Themusuem staff and volunteer guides are friendly, helpful and very well-informed. Entry is free and the small fee for the... More

My husband and I particularly enjoyed this well laid out, spacious museum. I am not a particular aircraft fan but I found it very interesting and was glad that I went. Admission is free but you should donate as its a great experience. Good cafe. Other aircraft available to be viewed but you need to have a guide for this. More
