A wonderful afternoon full of adventure with the ride, then the 4D movie was fantastic. Very informative and interesting to see.

The Centre was interesting, the ride in the Hagglund was good, the penguins were OK (but I'm a sucker for penguins anywhere). We've been to Antarctica and there is no comparison of course. The Snow & Ice Experience, basically a cooler with a bunch of artifacts in it - no real snow, is for Australians really.....I suppose anyone who has... More

Dont know how they justify their prices, like a small museum with penguins. Not really a whole lot in here, 1st i was there i thought yeah, this place is pretty cool, visited 2nd time with my daughter and just thought how the hell is this ranked the number 1 antartic centre in the world, either they are lying or... As was raining thought we'd go check this out! good for an afternoon out and if its cold/wet outside. the little hagglund ride was well worth it, you get the real feel of what it would be like, also the cold room when the wind gets up crazy cold! really enjoyed out day out was heaps of fun and we... We think we're having a bad day if we get wet when it rains....Check out this display and you feel like you were there when the Antarctic was being first explored. The experience in the blizzard is a must. The site supplies a jacket but I would suggest long pants, even in summer, as it gets very cold in the... More

We arrived at about 4pm and by then everything was shutting down for closure at 5.30. Bit early to be closing I felt but that's ok. We were only able to do the normal stuff i.e not the 4D or the buggy mind you that didn't overly interest me. My interest was in the wildlife and the learning. The learning... More

A fantastic insight into all things Antarctic. We were lucky enough to be there at penguin feeding time which was informative and entertaining. The -8 degree room is a great attraction, and when the "storm" hits, an entertaining cold blast and a unique opportunity to experience the hostility of the Antarctic cold. Great selection of reasonably priced food in the... More

We last visited here about 8 years ago and had forgotten much about it. It was a really interesting day out and we spent a few hours there. Our 12 year old was really interested in all the exhibits and loved her front seat trip in the Hoglund! Shrieks of delight from all involved!

I wanted to take my wife there so she could experience what it was like for me down there on the ice. The artefacts were cool and the cold experience was as close as you could come to the real thing. I thought they could have had more on not only life for people down there but maybe a link... More

Great place. The ride, the Pinguins feeding and the 4d movie were great. The price is a bit high. DO NOT go with short pants (snow storm experience)
