Participants negotiate a series of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and flying foxes from platforms constructed in the tree canopy. Adrenalin Forest is a great confidence builder and adrenalin rush. The adventure park features an aerial obstacle course up to 20 meters off the ground, 6 pathways of progressive difficulty, about 2 km in length and covering 4 hectares of forest. Participants attached by an overhead safety wire safely negotiate a series of 100 challenging activities high up in the tree canopy. « less

We went with a group of friends and having not been there before were a little unsure of what to expect. The staff clearly explained how to keep your self safe and clip and unclip etc. At the beginning of the course the obstacles are easier and they get progressively harder as you go. This means that anyone who gets... More

Great place to get the kids to burn up excess energy and have some time outdoors. Really well managed and emphasis on safety is a key feature. We were ther last week end and the kids really enjoyed the day, were exhausted that evening and had an early night. Not much fun if you are not participating, but there are... More

This is near the beach and easy to reach by public bus, so we took a picnic and spent about 4 hours in the park first, had lots of fun, then went for the rest of the day to the beach. More

Since being in christchurch I have been here twice. Once with a hen party and the other with two close friends. Both times were fantastic. It's great value for money if you arrive close to opening time and spend all day there exploring. There are 6 courses to do each moving up in difficulty. You really get good value for... More

A challenging trip to the high wires. Can be physically and mentally challenging.. We only made it through 4 of the 6 levels, not surprising for me, but I was in. A group with teenagers, who had also had enough after 4 levels. We all left happy. It is quite expensive, but worth it. More

We went with a 9 year old who is very confident at heights however, because of a height restriction (and fair enough for safety reasons) we could only do the first to pathways. While children's prices are adjusted accordingly based on their height, it is still full price for adults. Although we could have done the higher courses didn't want... More

Our daughters aged 12 & 13 love 'Go Ape' and found Adrenalin Forest just as good, if not better. The great thing was that they could go it alone with the instructor watching from the ground. We went for a walk and bought a coffee at the camp site while they enjoyed themselves for over 2 hours. It was great... More

This isn't for the faint-hearted. Stuff for every level but starts at an easy level so you only have to go as far as you dare. I haven't finished the course before as it would take about 4 hours to complete...good excuse to go back! More
