Beautiful and quaint brewery w great apple cider tasting. A fellow drinker in my group did the beer tasting which by his account was good also. marife's exhuberence and passion was catching and made the experience more than just a tasting. i felt like i was at my neighborhood bar 'having a taste' with my mates.

Surrounded by wineries Moa Brewery Bar is differently worth a stop. We paid $5 for the tastings which was well worth it. We ended up having a great pie and a full serve of the winter ale. We then bought all the ones we liked to the point where we had to leave some behind to pick up the next... More

Well worth a stop here for a tasting of some excellent beers and ciders. Made all the more enjoyable by the enthusiasm and hospitality of the young lady in charge. There is a charge for tastings but we bought a few cases to take back home so that was waived. We could have stayed all afternoon but had to pedal... More

The girl running the tastings was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were well set up. Tastings were $5 and included maybe 8 beers ( I lost count!) The beers for sale were good value and there were great special offers available.

Great to be able to stop for some beer & cider tasting amongst all the wine tasting. Funky little brewery with a fantastic selection of beers to try with a very helpful German guy serving us.. The hubby was on cloud nine! Well worth a visit.

If you enjoy trying new beers, go here! Also, if it's a nice day, you can enjoy your new favorite beer sitting outside in the fresh air. Definitely worth a stop!

We had several tastings which comprise of a selection of 4 beers with a very informative description of each given by the young girl. She was also able to give us a history of the Moa brand which was very... More

We stopped by the Moa Brewery after exploring some of the area wineries by bike. When we pulled up to the brewery, there were a few groups of people outside at the picnic tables. At one of these groups was the only employee at the brewery bar, so she had to break away from her group to take care of... More

Moa produces some of the best beers in New Zealand. Their Original is in fact one of the best lagers in the world and no true beer lover should leave NZ without giving it a try. Yet, Moad Brewery Bar is probably one of the worst places in the country to taste these excellent beers. I was travelling with a... More

If you like hoppy beer, Moa has you covered. They also had a great ginger beer (alcoholic...like real beer that is ginger flavored) that would be great with thai food! The bartender was not so great - maybe I just don't get their sense of humor. We also got some bread to eat here..it was pretty good.
