There was a reasonable selection of wines to try, and the staff member was knoweldgeable and helpful. Several of their wines are enjoyable as is their olive oil . The setting is pleasant as is the drive to the winery.

Well done to Tracey and Tash for making our visit so memorable. Their knowledge and friendliness shone through as we moved through their wines. Their Envoy range is amongst the best that I have tasted. The setting is also stunning. A wow experience.

We have enjoyed Spy Valley wines in the U.S. were looking forward to our visit. We were not disappointed. The most fun is connecting the name with the locale. It is located in an area called "Spy Valley" due to 2 large globe like radio communication globes just down the road. We had not noticed that the label as morse... More

Our first stop today and our favorite while touring the Marlborough wine region. We are not huge white wine lovers but theirs were good and their few reds were very nice and tasty. They do a good job of being hip with all their attention to detail considering they are in the "Spy Valley Region." (think James Bond) The woman... More

We visited here today for a wine tasting. The host kindly asked where we were from, and introduced us to the others tasting. We ended up being a large group of 10 tasting. Sadly my favourite wine, the oaked Chardonnay wasn't for sale...all sold out! Which was the main reason why I visited. Never mind we bought some other great... More

We loved this winery and the quirky touches. Everything is spy-themed without being juvenile or overpowering; they have some lovely Tshirts (although perhaps a bit expensive) and baseball caps etc. Nicely themed on the local spy satellite station. We enjoyed the sense of humour in the building and surrounds; the high windows on the left above the moat as you... More

Visited here before Christmas en route to Nelson Region and were welcomed warmly- activities and drinks were provided for the kids, a lovely proper cup of coffee for the driver, who couldn't do tastings :-(. The taster had a great time and chose the Sauv Blanc and the Pinot Gris, and a lovely olive oil. A special place on a... More

Whether you are into wine or not, Spy Valley is a great place to visit. What I like the best here - in addition to the wines of course - is to park the car and just take some time out, chatting with the wonderful and knowledgeable staff who is very welcoming, sit down at the outdoor cafe and just... We were really impressed and pleasantly surprised with the Spy Valley wines...especially with how great the reds were! We also enjoyed the view and the history of where Spy Valley got its name. It's definitely worth a visit! :)
