Wine tasting offered by Dennise. Fantastic experience, very knowledgeable lady who listened to out tastes and responded to them getting us to try wines we normally would not and so changed our ideas on two wines, especially Chardonnay. Great wines and lovely location.

When you tour the Marlborough, NZ area wineries, make time to visit Wither Hills and enjoy the setting, the view, its architecture but most of all the excellent pinot noir wines they produce. We were treated to an enthusiastic presentation by Katrina who demonstrated the clarity of the wines by shining a light through the tasting glass onto a sheet... More

The only winery in the area (that we could find) that has tours. We stopped by the day before to check time for the following day. Our guide was informative and friendly and we were so glad we had this experience.

Great wine and beautiful setting. We did the behind the scenes 20-minute tour. Well worth doing. We liked their Sauvignon Blanc (75% of their production) and their Pinot Noir (15%). Go for lunch if you can. (Will likely need reservation.) Get the Vineland Platter. Full meal for 2-3 people.

Stopped at the vineyard and stayed for lunch. Very pleasant waiting staff who, despite being very busy, took the time to chat. A varied menu which gave a good range of food and a suggested wine. The food was well prepared and excellent value.

Really enjoyed the attention, insights and information afforded by our tasting host. Visited the cellar, tasted from a barrell of Pinot Noir then upstairs for a wide selection of white and light red tastings (we were delayed in arriving, but host very graciously incorporated us into the group and ensured we received the entire experience). Very personal, attentive service. Enjoyed... More

Beautiful building inside and out combined with charming and knowledgable staff made this a great place to stop. Wish we had time to try the restaurant, but perhaps next time. The kids enjoyed the free trip to the cellars below and climbed to the terrace and up further to the tower with great views over the region. Lovely informal seating... More

We visited on a very busy Sunday afternoon and while there was a short delay in getting our table the staff were great. The tasting staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lovely setting and very relaxing. The food was delicious and reasonable value for money.
