My partner assured me I would have a great day at to even Though I couldn't ski due to having a broken leg. The car park attendant found us a nice close park and after battling the stairs in a moon boot, he was right! That view is amazing, we also had a great hot meal that tasted homemade! The... More

TC is amazing, I've boarded a few place in NZ (not all) and so far this is my favourite. Great runs, with a great range of slopes from beginner to advanced. The snow is so much better than that in the North Island and there weren't anywhere near as many people as I'm used to sharing the mountain with. The... More

Ok ok I may be biased here but seriously TC is Top Cat with me! Long runs, steep and deep, quick lifts, great on mountain facilities and the views, well the views!

Out of the four we visited - The Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Treble Cone and Cadrona, Treble Cone was one of the top. Even thought we hadn't had any snow for over a week, Treble Cone was still by far much more fun. Only two chair lifts meant limited choice but with so many little jumps to hit on the way... More

I've been skiing for more than 30 years... A couple of years ago my ability went to another level .. and Treble Cone demanded the best of me. .. A brief note for the intermediate skiers .. The main runs are perfectly fine for the average skier, they are really long, wide, not too steep, etc. This review is for... More

2014 snow is awesome!!!! This is great for all ages, free learners slope is great to chuck the kids on whilst you check out the big kids area. People say is steep, but the easy rider and Main Street and pretty timid, avoid the saddle if you can't ski or get off a chair lift.

The saddle basin and chutes are in fine condition with a little crowding on saddle basin chair lift. I would suggest an upgrade to a detachable chair lift. Cafe was good with excellent selection of meals. Unbeatable views over Lake Wanaka and central alps.

Great place to visit, and no I don't ski or snowboard - I wish I did! The views are magnificent and if you're lucky you may even get to see a kea or two. The road up to Treble Cone is a bit on the white knuckle side but it's worth the effort

If you are an intermediate or advanced skier or boarder you will love this field. My only negative was the queues on the 4-seater chairlift in the saddle basin. In the weekend the chairlift struggles to keep the crowds moving in this large terrain area.
