The Capital Tastes tour was a great way to experience what Wellington has to offer. A great combination of getting to know the City and also trying some tasty food. Our guide, Heather, was fantastic and really made it a memorable experience. She was extremely knowledgeable about Wellington and the food scene. Would thoroughly recommend. We weren't sure what to except prior to the tour. Our group was a little late because we had to take the car back to the hotel. There wasn't anyplace left to park without being ticketed. So... make sure you walk to the meeting point. Our tour guide was wonderful! She gave us history on building's and landmark's. We ate... More

I was in Wellington, NZ in November of 2013 and participated in a fantastic Zest food tour. With the city of Wellington near the water, we were able to see magnificent sites and artwork and we learned a great deal about the history of the area. Our guide, Wilma, did a phenomenal job, and we all tasted delights and laughed... More

This is THE best food tour we have ever taken, by far. Heather, our guide, was a delight and was excited to share her knowledge of the food scene as well as the history of Wellington. The purveyors of each establishment were excited to share their passion for their business and the quality of their products was exceptional. We finished... More

Highly recommend taking the Zest food tour! This walking tour takes you through the streets of Wellington and gives you a view into the entrepreneurial spirit of Wellingtons foodies. We sampled cheese, jam, coffee, gelato and chocolate all lovingly made by locals who were kind enough to share their story and craft with us. Our tour culminated with a delicious... More

We did the Zest food tour in Wellington and were very pleased. Our guide (who happend to be Dutch) really knew what she was talking about, not only about food- and drinkfacts, but also about the city. It was a perfect combination of walking, talking, visiting historic places, but above all, learn about the food-culture in NZ. A very good... More
