Great place for kids to interact with animals. Not often you can get up close to Kea's, Deer, Ostrich's etc - Pays to take your old apples/carrots and also to go early ; After lunch the animals have usually been well fed and not so attentive. This is a great place for families or people who like to get out into the country and see some local wildlife, get some light exercise and fresh air and stop for a bite to eat - coffee and cake or a roll. As a grown up I still enjoy seeing the animals. More

Enjoyed my time here. The setting was beautiful with the river, bush and hills. Lots of animals to feed and pat. Highlight was the Clydesdale horse. More

A great relaxing visit. Great to see all the animals. Hasnt changed much over the years. The road in can put the frights up your passengers, but all good once youre there. More

We've been going to Staglands since not long after our kids were born (first 8 years ago). It has seen constant, if gradual, improvement and maintenance over the years.
