The World of WearableArt™ (WOW®) Awards Show is the only event of its kind in the World.WOW®'s mission is to take art off the wall and out of static display to adorn the body in wildly wonderful ways. WOW® celebrates this creativity in lavish and unique spectaculars which inspire all. The WOW® Awards Show is New Zealand’s largest arts event, a theatrical two-hour show held annually in Wellington, New Zealand. The audience of WOW® reaches nearly 50,000 per season. First shown in 1987, Nelson sculptor and WOW® Founder Dame Suzie Moncrieff had the vision to take art off the wall and exhibit on the human form.See what people are saying about WOW®: #beWOWdinWLG

Truly a show worth going to a different country just to attend. Amazingly talented designers and just generally really good entertainment.

Had a FANTASTIC night at the Wearable Arts show. Was totally blown away by not only the amazing costumes, but the performance and show that goes on at the same time. Singing, dancing, people coming out of the ground, people up in the air, colours. You don't know where to look, there's so much happening! We got the cheap seats... More

My favourite yearly show, seems to get better and better. First class entertainment, outstanding, in every way. Love seeing all the smiley faces at the end of the show. You must go!

i love this event. After being away from Wellington for 7 years I just had to go to WOW yet again. Unbelievably the show was even better than before. This event is world class - the creativity, imagination and artistic interpretation defies words. Visit Wellington in September just to attend WOW you won't regret it!

2nd year coming down to WOW and again it was fantastic. Looking forward to coming down again. The only downside is there is so much to look at you don't know where to start

We attended the 2014 WOW Show and what a treat. This time we were at a Corporate table which did enhance the experience by being close enough to see detail on the Costumes. A truly stunning show this year, from the costumes, lighting, sound, acrobatics, to colours and choreography. Each time I go I wonder how this could possibly be improved... More

Amazing show that never fails to please - choreography, staging, lighting, music and of course the wearable art! Premium ticket well worth purchasing with cost of the programme included. Can't wait for next year!
