Lovely on a great sunny day

Great on a sunny day the beaches are nice and small . Sandy and with a cafe across the road from the beach is great for a coffee . There are changing rooms there as well

Travel around the coastal road of Eastern Hutt to Days Bay & discover the quiet quaint settlement of Days Bay. Set amongst some of the most beautiful bush settings in Wellington, this recreation park, & cafeteria pavillion has been around for generations and cotinues to attract visitors to its relaxed surroundings. Take a walk along the beach front or through... More

Recently went to lunch in Days Bay. Wellington put on a perfect Sunny and not too windy day. A must do if you you are in Wellington.

Such a quaint beautiful location to relax, pop into the local store for a pizza or ice cream, buy duck food to feed the ducks behind the store & plenty of easy bush walks just behind it too

A quick drive down here exploring the sights which was well worth the visit. We stopped off at the day's bay pavilion for lunch. After a walk along the bay amazing for picnics and a spot of swimming

This is a nice bay to visit if you want to try something a bit more secluded when in Wellington. I think you can get the ferry over but we always drive via petone. Nice walking area with a good coffee shop and little park for the kids.

Drive there or take the ferry from Wellington city. Sometimes the ferry goes via Somes Island and Seatoun too, so you get a nice view of the coastline from the sea and all included in your fare! Once you get there the Pavilion is directly over the road from the wharf and has good food, ice creams, outdoor seating and... More
