This is the place to go for for information of all types. We took a great walking tour from the iSite. When we returned on another day the staff helped us find a post office ( to exchange currency) and they helped with finding a chocolate cafe. There are many free materials on all of New Zealand including maps and... More

This particular site was at the civic center, close to museums, the city hall and buildings and near the wharf. It had oodles of brochures and people to help make reservations. There was also a small souvenir shop, Right outside was a stop for the Zealandia Trolley and other pick up points (Hop on Hop off bus).

Like all ISITE locations, staff were knowledgeable, helpful and ready with brochures and telephones to make reservations. A great stop to help decide what to do in Wellington. As a cruise ship passenger, we were able to ask at the iSites about the port we were in and the coming ports - well done.

We had a friendly welcome from the staff who answered all questions. This spot offers clean bathrooms, a small gift shop and lots of information.

It was as we expected. Got the stuff we wanted through looking. We weren't greeted or acknowledged by anyone. I got the impression that as it was obvious we weren't international visitors we didn't help.

The staff was eager to provide any and all information that you requested. It is a good place to start if you are unsure what to see and do in the Wellington area.

Staff were very helpful with maps and information about what was happening in town. One slight problem is that we could not locate the toilets, even though we followed the signs! (Had to wait till we got home!)

This well laid out info centre is staffed by helpful staff. The Geldoff statue in the entrance adds a fun atmosphere and allows for a photo before heading of to the Weta workshop tour.
