Huka Falls is the most amazing blue I have ever seen and we had an overcast day. The volume of water is awe-inspiring our jet boat driver told us it could fill an Olympic sized pool in 11seconds, pretty amazing. Make sure you visit the Huka Falls a couple of ways to see the best of it. We did the... More

the walks around the Falls are free and family friendly, the lady in the shop is grumpy, she may have been having a bad day, but a smile and a hello is not difficult and it's what New Zealand is known for, friendly people.

My Wife and I really enjoyed our Anniversary trip. It was just as special as the day we got married. Must visit.

Huka Falls is different to your normal waterfall, with it being more of a rapids that you walk over which is great! The water is a shade of blue I don't think I've ever seen in water before... It offers some superb walks along the river too! Certainly worth a visit.

Decided to take a quick drive to see the Huka Falls from the land after taking a spin on the Huka Jet. The sight shows the true power of water!! It is breathtaking to see it at full flow and we went on the right day to see it at its height.

Awesome noise, mother nature has great power and beauty, only a short walk from the coach park. A great stop off point.

Always blows me away when I go there... beautiful. 200,000 litres of water per second, amazing shades of blue and green.

Quite remarkable. Well worth a look. Try to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the tourist log-jam isn't so crushing.
