L'Arte is a short drive from central Taupo and is worth seeking out. The gallery and gardens exhibit interesting art pieces with an emphasis on mosaics and other sculptures. The unicorn is special. Set in delightful gardens with a nearby cafe it is a good place to relax over lunch or just coffee. Thanks for your vote if you found... More

A destination in Taupo which is well worth the 10 min drive. Six years of creativity throughout the garden provides added interest to what is a already a lovely setting. A musician arrived to entertain the diners. Good coffee and nice cafe food. A secret gem well worth discovering.

While you wait for your great dishes you can wander through the grounds and shop filled with local ceramic creations. Good food with a reasonable selection available. A little out of town but well worth visiting.

Staff very friendly. We arrived ten minutes before closing but staff happily got us coffee and a lovely seed cake. Setting is in garden with unusual art - mosaics and metal.

I visit this cafe daily when I holiday in Taupo as the coffee and food is outstanding. The well trained staff are friendly and the location in Acacia Bay in a garden setting with lots of interesting objects d'art for sale is a bonus.
