We didn't catch any prawns and got soaked by the rain, but the kids loved it! Café is pricey though!

Prawns, best, ever! If your going any where near Taupo, stop in and have them for lunch, take some away for the Barbie later on, they are 100 times better than from any supermarket. The farm tours not bad either.

Changed a lot since 1988!!!! Absolutely fantastic staff. The food is unbelievably good. And it was a shame that we didn't get to sample everything on the menu but after a kilo of prawns, chowder, pate, and an incredibly fantastic prawn curry...........(I would love the recipe) we were full to the brim. The staff were very accommodating and sadly Richard... More

The setting was great. There were many ponds for prawn fishing. A lot of different areas and play grounds set up for kids too so they don't get bored from just prawn fishing. There were at least 3 play grounds for kids and many small entertainment set ups to keep the children busy. Restaurant is well set up, clean, bright,... More
