So disappointed. Tour was very rushed, I should have seen the red flag when the tour guide couldn't even jag a line. Couldn't believe that its just tough luck if you don't catch any any. For the $56 that myself and my partner paid you'd at least get to taste a prawn!!!

For the very young or young at heart. An enjoyable way to spend a relaxing couple of hours. Not for those looking for excitement or adventure.

A relaxing couple of hours pulling the evasive little critters out of their pond. We were provided with rods and bait and even small buckets to hold our catch. Choose a sunny day and you'll catch a small feed. If you really want a decent feed of prawns, then the restaurant is a better bet.

Thank you for visiting our park. Those prawns are a bit tricky at times, but once you get on a roll you won't want to put the fishing rod down. More

It was awesome even though we couldn't catch any prawn. It's a fun experience! Great for kids. Good activity to do if you have a few hours to spend there.

We had a great time here with our 3 children (ages 8, 6 and 4). Our 4 year old was totally capable of catching prawns. There is definitely a technique - mostly patience and letting them walk and then nibble before hauling them in. If the kids get bored, there are swings and water bikes to keep them amused while... Thank you so much for visiting our park, we are very pleased to hear that you had such a great time. Prawn fishing is definitely fun for all ages, and a great way to spend the day. Those heated seats in the park are fantastic, a great way to warm up if you get a bit chilled. More

If in to a bit of fishing this is the place to be for young and old. Just a pity they don't offer a spectator price.

Was dragged to this place by hubby and my brother who were so excited to catch prawns after seeing the pamphlet advertising the prawn park. $28 adult entry fee I felt was a bit hefty for what they offer, but we thought we would give it a shot since you can cook and eat all the prawns you catch.. Problem... More

The prawns are absolutely brilliant! I was a bit disappointed to know they weren't necessarily from the farm. However, they were stunning. The place stinks a little due to the geothermal power plant but that is half the fun!

Thank you for your visit to our park. The prawns are definitely very tasty, especially when they are tossed through garlic butter. We hope to see you again in the future. More
