Went for lunch today. It was quiet because it was christmas eve. Great explanation of menu for us newbies. Food was great delivered fast and hot. Great venue, great atmosphere.

Visited this bar with friends, loved it! We just went for drinks, cocktails were amazing. We got nibbles later on in the night and the food was great! Definately be returning!!

Went to snug bar for a quiet meal and had a fantastic time. It is in a fantastic renovated and quite infamous pub. The interior is seriously well done but the outdoor area is even better. This is a bar with interesting food options rather than a fine dining restaurant and this probably confuses some people - it is Japanese... More

This place was highly recommended for the "Chow Down". I thought it was "all you can eat" but it was only a small platter then four more dishes - at $25 per person this was very poor value for money. The food was luke warm and only buffet quality and took ages to come. Service was ok but on a... More

Hi Hotice26, Im sorry that you experience at Snug didnt live up to your expectations. Our Chow Down (All You Can Eat Yakitori) Menu is really popular and it does pay to book a table if you are wanting to sit somewhere specific, the food is all cooked to order, so on busy nights there can sometimes be a delay... Chowdown is good and unreal value - as a peskyterian (fish / shellfish) I probably had 10 salmon skewers, tempura prawns, squid etc for $20. And could've kept on eating. It's not gourmet teppanyaki like Kura or Kens but it's perfectly fine. Surroundings are a treat. Lots of cushioned couch type things, a fireplace. Snug as. Front of house is... More

Born in 1984 and managed to get first drink without ID. Second time, with same guy, I get ID'd. I'm feeling pretty bitter about this place because it takes so unbelievably long to have your drink delivered! First drink took 15 minutes, 2nd drink took 17minutes... Yet other patrons are getting drinks made right in front of them. Not coming... More

Was Ok but would not rave about it....The Chowdown Menu is, in my opinion the way to go, in terms of value for money..I had a mini lucky burger and chips and it was very average, whereas friends who had the Chowdown Menu did get value for the $20 per head charge. They said the food was delicious. Others who shared... More

Stumbled on Snug looking for somewhere to eat what a gem. Great staff really friendly helpful and great service. My wife is addicted to Pina Colada's and although not on their cocktail menu they whipped one up no problems and it was great, (this has not always been the case in other bars). We loved the food, don't know how... More
