A variety of interesting pools, formations and features. Worth seeing the geyser at 10.15am (daily). For the most part easy walking.

This will give you a really good taste of whst makes this region special. You soon get used to the smell of sulphur and start to enjoy the imaginative descriptions of the various craters and pools and the extraordinary colours of the boiling waters and mud.

Loved this place! Easy to walk around, the longest track is 3km. The colours are just amazing here and there are lots of information boards. Look for discount vouchers at your hotel etc! It's interesting as it is my 1st time visiting such places. The place is not big, but there are different types of thermal pools. The Lady Knox Geyser was spectacular. I expected it to end in a short while, but the whole eruption lasted quite long and we had a good time posing for different crazy photo shots.

Nowhere can one be so close to nature's beauty and possible fury than through a walk through all the awesome ponds created by volcanic activity. Make sure you follow the path arrows strictly and bring an umbrella for sudden downpours.
