Came here just to do the luge (it was 6pm). The advanced track was closed when I was there probably because of the rain but the other 2 tracks kept us well satisfied. Loved the redwoods setting. Very different from Queenstown's. Kudos to the staff for waiting for us to finish our rides.

Great afternoon out. Starts with a ride up on a gondola, lots to do at the top. Luge rides where so much fun. Cafe was a bit of a shocker, 15min wait for a hot drink!! Overall great fun! Quiet pricey :/

Paid $90 for 3 luge rides for 2 people inclusive of gondola and chair lift and I wish we had paid for more. Was so much fun could have luged all day long and the view from the top (and on the way up in the gondola) was amazing.

I had a great experience at Skyline. Its not just a gondola ride (yes the views are awesome) but the sky chair, was exhilarating!!! A 3 seated chair suspended by cables lifts you up into the air until you are dangling almost face down, then you get to pull the release cable yourself and come flying down at 150 km/h... More

A little pricey but a good view from the top, decent food and activities. We did the wine tasting at the top as well as taking in the views.

The gondola ride was very scenic. My husband rode the luge once at the top and thoroughly enjoyed himself. The trail walks were very nice. The cafe food was average. The jelly belly store has some cute portraits made of jelly beans eg Harry Potter and the Mona Lisa. Bought some jelly beans - totally disappointed in the supposed flavours... More

We went up to the Skyline restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The ride up was exhilarating and the view was superb. The restaurant had a huge range of dishes catering for all kinds of taste buds. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and very good value. The chef cooked us our own special course and... More

We had been up on the gondola many years ago and were keen to return with our visitor so she could have a go on the luge. It was good to see the expanded number of activities available and the gondola was a pleasant ride. However, we chose to go at lunchtime to specifically try out the new cafe which... More

And this is not the place to do it. Looking at the maps, the walks up and down the mountain seemed longer. Plus, the man at my hostel's front desk said it would take about an hour to walk down. He must have ment something else because you cannot walk down. On the other hand, the people luging looked like... More

The gondola ride was very pleasant and gave great views over rotorua and this review would probably have been 4/5 had it not been for the luge. My husband and I paid for five runs which I think was just about the right number. The scenic being the slowest but aptly named as there's time to admire the view as... More
