The Best Way To Get Awesome View Of Rotorua

Many things to do when you get to the top, number one for me was the LUGE, Down hill tracks, the trees and landscape. Heaps of FUN for all Ages.

the gondola ride up the mountain was easy to access and we had great views but nothing compared to when you reach the top. theres lots of mountain bike trails and a small nature walk. the luge is a definite must and great fun but worth it just for the ski lift back up, this was really fun, check out... As a family we visited Skyline Rotorua to watch the Mountain Bike event Crankworx. The venue set up for Mountain Biking is good with three levels of track to defend on. Good set up for people to load their bikes into allocated Gondolas. The ride up was Free as it was included in the Crankworx ticket. But my understanding the... More

GOing up on the gondolas is a great way to see all of Rotorua. My husband and son HAVE to do the luge every 2/3 years when we come back to Rotorua and they love it.... They spend the whole day there....and alsways come back totally exhausted and satiated. Worth the money. good value.

Took my friends mum out as she had injured her knee and couldn't go to White island. Whipped in to see if the could manage someone with crutches Staff were friendly and helpful. No problems. Slowed gondola to get on and at the top we were able to get a wheelchair. View was awesome. Lots to watch from the top.... More

I only did the luge (along with cablecar) and really enjoyed it. I did 3 rides so 1 on each track, It's called the luge but it's not nice on a small wooden board down a bobsleigh track. It's a kind of go-kart without an engine but it's still really quick. It's even better with friends. The cablecar provides nice... More

We were treated to this by sponsors (thank you), and as a group of middle aged guys we had a lot of fun. Going mid week meant that there were no queues. Well worth the trip.

Absolutely epic! From the Gondola ride up, to the Gondola ride down. Arrived around 5.30: had a few rides on the Luge(TOTALLY AWESOME!), then 6.30 had dinner booked in The Stratosfare - GREAT customer service! Got a window seat with excellent views of the sunset & buffet dinner was delicious! I don't even know what my favourite meal was? Then... More

We come here almost every visit to Rotorua. The line "once is never enough" is so true with the Luge and we found the best option is the 5 ride ticket and it lets you go on all the tracks at least once. Today they had the Crank Fest occurring so it was really packed with cyclists. Some additional care... More
