Went here yesterday with our 2 year old and her grandparents. She loved feeding the trout, looking at all of the birds and playing on the playground. She was terrified on the big splash but everyone else enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend the food in the cafe but that's not what we went for and we thoroughly enjoyed everything else... More

Thanks! We love hearing about family visits and are pleased that your 2yr old liked the trout feeding. We have been displaying trout in the park since the 1930's and they are always a favorite! I would be interested in learning more about your experience in the cafe and if you have time available we would appreciate you contacting us... More

Well worth a visit to the kiwi enclosure to witness the work done with these nocturnal, endangered birds.

Thank you for your review. It is great to hear that your son enjoyed the Big Splash - it is a good look at New Zealand's history and the splash at the end is always fun. I hope you managed to take advantage of your all-day ticket. It includes our daily scheduled animal experiences, our daily bird show and the... More

Wow, this is one place which made me feel healthy, and more keen to be environmentally friendly. Love how they preserved the redwood trees in this attraction, as well as other native animals and trees (e.g. kiwi, tuatara, eels etc). Coming from Auckland, it's always a pleasure to see Aotearoa native areas where there's more of a push for environmental... More

Loved this interactive wildlife park. Great family experience seeing the trout and walking in the bird enclosure. Feeding the fish was what the kids enjoyed. The log ride was the best part for the big kids. A must see, and do.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review. The fish have been a favorite since 1932 when the park opened - they continue to be a crowd pleaser, particularly in our spectacular underwater viewer. The Big Splash is a recent addition and is very popular with our guests also. We hope to have you visit the park again... More

Rainbow springs was a good attraction overall. Good to see kiwi's and gain rainbow trout. The best part of the attraction was the big splash ride, heaps of good fun. Worth it.

Rainbow springs was really cool. I went there with my school for a Geography trip, and we got a full guided tour of the park, and there is a lot to see. The highlight for me however, was the big splash, which I did 3 times. It was a lot of fun and i would go back there.

I had an enjoyable time here. Seeing all the wildlife was good, but the most enjoyable attraction at this place is The Big Splash. I had a lot of fun on this ride, with it not only being informative but a load of fun, and you could go on as many times as you want. Customer service was great as... More
