We really enjoyed our visit to Paradise Valley Springs, Awesome walking around the place and enjoying the peace and tranquility. The Ngongahata is rich with Trout and this place captures that with tthem swimming freely in the river and pools for all to see. Great place to take children and the Lion pen is worth walking around a couple of... More

We planned to be at the park at Lion feeding time and it was awesome! The Feeder was really informative and stopped every now and then to tell us little facts about the lions and their different personalities. We didn't get to see the cubs, but thats ok we were told they wouldn't be out when we arrived before we... More

We took our two homestay Korean students to Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park - so they could pat the cubs and see the trout and farm animals etc. They had a great time, in fact we all did. It is a well run and laid out facility and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

This wildlife park is a trout farm that has some farm animals and well kept grounds. My 17 month old loved being able to feed the farm animals. It was nice to be able pat the lions; however putting a hand in a cage to pat a lions back was not what was expected. The lion enclosure seemed to be... More

Our expectations were exceeded, the lion cub petting was great for our children. The lion feeding was both educational and very entertaining. The bush setting was lovely even in the rain and feeding the animals was great fun. Our kids loved it.

Well kept grounds, clean tidy conveniences, good info signs. Loved the lion cubs but it pays to get there a bit before the patting time to avoid queues. Quite a few different animals that city folk probably haven't been up close and personal with, still interesting enough for country kids. Trout amazing!

Slightly disappointed in the lion cub 'petting' they we in a cage and you put you hand in the cage a touched their back, also thought the adult loins enclosure was a little on the small side. Great walk around and lots of different facts, a spring with water you can fill up a drink from. Beautiful grounds.
