Such a lovely place to go to see the real New Zealand. Spectacular views looking over Rotorua. Our guide was very friendly and made it a great experience. We did the 1.5 hour ride and it was well worth the price. Horses well looked after.

It was an extremely relaxing ride. I did my trekking on a spitting and foggy day. The calming and refreshing effects of the nature, plus the close up experience with the horses combined together to meditate. It was so meditating that it allowed me to let go of everything bothering me in my life. Not only the scenery observed was... More

Originally we were thinking of booking 1 hour tour but were advised on taking hour & half tour, so glad we did. The views were amazing. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of area (even though they were travelling workers) and were extremely patient and helpful with our 8yr old daughter who was extremely nervous on the horse. Highly recommend this... More

My daughter and I went on the 1.5hr trek and found the staff were all friendly and capable, plus the horses were well mannered! The staff took time to ensure the horses were matched with each rider's ability which was reassuring - especially for those who were novices. We trekked up through a bush clad gorge and across farm land... More

We had a great time as a family on our 1.5 hour trek. The horses were all well-matched to us as riders and the girls leading the group were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely go again if the opportunity presents itself.

We had no booking, and these wonderful people just took us on for a trek. The horses are very nice and responsive, the tour goes through the farm onto a mountain, giving a great view. It's a great walk.

Beautiful, well-taken care of horses matched with riders according to experience. Beautiful views! I really enjoyed riding so closely past the sheep and cows. The rolling farmland is beautiful, views of the lake are beautiful, everything was wonderful!
