From the horses, to the guides, to Lucy herself, (and even the dog!), this was the best attraction in Rotorua. As novices of various ages, we were slightly apprehensive of the one and a half hour trek, but were soon put at ease by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. My children (who are 20 and 17) said that... More

My daughter and I did the 2 and a half hour trek around the farm. It was wonderful listening to Lucy's stories of the history of the area and the farm. It was a wonderful day, even though it was incredibly blustery! The horses, Joe and Alfie, were great - superb manners and in great condition. Wonderful scenery, horses and... More

My partner and I did the two hour trek. It was such an amazing experience, we got to see the amazing lake Okareka and the beautiful farmland surrounding it. Both of our houser were well behaved and pretty much steered themselves! It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, and is by far the most exciting activity we have... More

I'd just like to say thanks to the girls for a fab ride. My fiance Daine & I chose to do the 2 hr trig trek, and we got a few opportunities to have a trot and canter which Daine loved as a beginner rider. The horses were well behaved and we had a great experience! Definetely recommend this place!

Big thanks to Kara and Lucy (and Alfie, the horse) for an amazing and fair-priced experience! Lucy, the owner and operator, was very attentive and listened to exactly what I was looking for in a horse trek. We went on a very scenic ride up a small mountain and saw many beautiful views of the lake and valleys. Kara was... More

We did the 1 and half hour trek and the scenery was just beautiful. We rode through the forest for parts and then across hills to overlook the lake, rolling hills and farmland. The horses were perfect for us; my partner is a novice and his horse was confident and slow, just right, I am experienced and my horse was... More

I went with a group of friends, because one of them found a coupon offering in a website. Even when my friend was her fist time to ride a horse and it was very afraid, Lucy took her time to understand and be very polite. Personally I enjoy it a lot, and if I had the opportunity to do it... More

This is a fantastic trek for beginners. The guides were good and the scenery was stunning. The horses were great and the staff were very friendly. The trek catered more for the beginners than the more experienced riders as we walked most of the way round. The scenery was stunning and varied beautifully. Unfortunately our guide seemed to get a... More
