We did the 'Yellow' walk and was just the right length for 'good' walk, we went up to the highest points and got some amazing pictures up there! Then we trekked through glorious forest, its just so much to take in and just another part of New Zealand's beauty!

A truly beautiful setting...many different walks to chose from including bike tracks which look pretty epic. It was amazing how we felt to be in a different world just on the edge of Rotorua

We spoke to many people during our visit to Rotorua and many didn't know about this great spot. We passed a few people during the walk through the majestic and wonderful redwoods but still felt a sense of solitude and aloneness. There are numerous trails depending on your aspirations for the day. And it's free!!

Lower part of the Californian Redwood forest is flat, making it very suitable for children, pushchairs etc. A lovely spot to get back to nature and let the dog run wild. B-r-e-a-t-h-e!
