We went in the morning after breakfast and the weather was excellent. We meet mums with toddlers, joggers, runners, dogs and their owners. We have picked a tract that only need an hour to finish. It was quite an easy walk even thought it's going up and down. If you have time, will be good to stay longer and enjoy.... More

Beautiful walk in the Redwoods Forest. Lovely big Californian Redwood trees. Safe paths to walk on. Can go hiking, cycling or just have a picnic with the family.

Such a beautiful walk even with young children. I took a 7 year old and 3 year old who walked most of the way to the spring. What a beautiful site that giant spring is impressive. Will definitely visit again.

Such a peaceful spot to see a forest of magnificent redwoods going about their thing. Once before I remember a corporate dinner we had here under sails slung from the canopy; a BBQ and Robin Hood activities in this wonderful setting . So nice to feel and see the atmosphere again.

The redwoods at first reminded me of home back in the US, but the deeper we got, the more it went back to classic NZ foliage. It was a relatively easy walk with gorgeous views, and you could even see some of the geothermal activity in the near distance.
