I was looking forward to returning to the Redwoods 15 years later and they were just as stunning as I remembered them. Our teens were equally impressed, our oldest making the most of the photographic aspects. Would love these in my backyard!

The Redwoods at Rotorua are practically in town and easy to access. An information office right there will give you all/any information you require. From VERY easy walks in the Redwoods to extended mountain biking close by - something here for everyone. Whether you have ten minutes or hours of time available this is truly a must for the visitor... More

We visited the redwoods twice. What an amazing beauty. The moment when you really feel humble and respect the nature even more than we already did. Couldn't get enough from this most touching place.

If you like some time to yourself, or a little exercise, mountain biking or an excuse to go walking with a friend, this is possibly the best place in Rotorua to do it. Loads of space, great walking tracks and wicked bike tracks.

This is one of the first places I visited when I moved to Rotorua 9 years ago and I still love it just as much today as I did back then. I now get to take my 2 young sons out for walks frequently. We went on a 'Bear Hunt' last weekend which was so cute :) The children love... More

After all the attractions that cost an absolute bomb, it was so good to visit the forest where it was free to get in, there was no one wanting to take your photo, and no adventure rides. And the forest is beautiful to.
