had a great time out and about on the boat, drove all around rotorua town with key areas and attractions pointed out to us, we then went to the blue lake and children and any adults who wanted to were given the opportunity to pilot the duck on the water, then came out of the water and went to another... I always look for an introductory tour when I go to a new place, and thought the Rotorua Duck Tour would give me a nice introduction to the area and to places I should visit while I was there. This tour provided not only an introduction to the town, itself, but also the surrounding area, which includes beautiful lakes and... More

A fantastic morning spent in the Duck. Grant our guide kept us entertained all the way, with a very informative and interesting commentary. I even got to pilot the duck.

Boring and over priced, wish I had done something else, all members of family totally bored and a waste of money.

The 2 hr in the afternoon is a must, the lakes are gorgeous. If you are a fan of world war machines this is a fine duck! Our guide Austin was awesome really interactive with us and he deserves a raise! For an american he gets the moari accent and vowel great!

We were lucky enough to get the American driver to show us around Rotorua, NZ. You may laugh (we did initially), but he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and good for a laugh as well. Not having been to NZ before and only visiting whilst on a cruise, we decided to take the duck tour to get the 5 minute feel... More

This is just great! We did the 2 hour tour starting at 3.30 and it lasted say 2 1/2 hours. Guide checked prior that this was ok for all and then just did it in casual fashion. No rush and just spent that extra time. Great description on scenery and also history of the vehicle itself. Guide had good knowledge.... More
