Great way to see some of the city and Lakes

We looked our duck tour with the duck noises. Our guide was very informative and funny. This is a really quick fun thing to do.

We did the long tour, and it was worth it. Splashdown into 3 lakes, and view of others. Commentary was good, humerous. Don't know whether there was a handout with an outline of the commentary for those hard of hearing or non-English speakers, as I forgot to ask, but I think if there isn't that would add an extra layer.... Was a little concerned that this was predominantly aimed at kids but really we had a great tour of the lakes on the Duck tour, learning about the history and mystery of them was interesting plus there was a LOT of fun to be had and we didn't stop smiling the whole trip. The only criticism, albeit minor is that... More

We're on a whirlwind tour of New Zealand and Australia. We had some down time while in Rotorura and decided to book the afternoon 2-hour tour. Our guide had a great sense of both humor and musical taste. We swam through three lakes and got a wonderful history lesson regarding the Maori people and the formation of the lakes. I'm... More

This is an excellent activity. Our group of 11 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our driver was awesome (Sean/Shawn?). The tour is amazing. I would do this again. Thank you!

We went on a duck tour with our 2 kids when we arrived in Rotorua. It was a great overview of the area and a way to get to know our way around. The tour guide was very entertaining and the kids loved the duck whistles. Our kids are aged 5 and 7 and we found the 90 min tour... More

2 hours and fun and enjoyment around the streets of Rotorua and then out onto the lakes. Fascinating listening to the volcanic history of the area. You are given a chance of steering the DUCK if you wish on one of the lakes- it is not as easy as you think! Tarawera is a nice quite location where you are... More

We really enjoyed this tour. You are taken to the main sites in the town and then a short drive on a very old duck boat to the Blue Lake, where you immediately drive into the beautiful water. After a sail around for a while you are taken to another nearby lake. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area... More

If you don't know the area it's a really good tour. A lot of people told me it's more for kids but in fact it's for people all ages! Grant was amazing! He was so friendly and always had us laughing. It was a nice morning!
