Did the Kaituna run with the missus. We were the only 2 on the raft with the guides and support crew and it was fantastic. I WILL be back to do the other grade 5 run.... If your worried about doing the higher grade runs, don't be. You are in goo hands!

Nice rafting experience in Kaituna river with a 7 meter fall. The guides are really nice and teach you a lit about Maori culture.

We had an amazing time. It was our first time rafting and were slightly nervous about the experience. I guess mainly about the unknown. Anyway the staff were really helpful and very safe and prepared you for everything and anything. Good facilities for changing and more than adequate gear. We felt safe the whole time and were so thankful to... More

Our guide (Canadian Dave) was the best. He was very animated, down to earth and fun. Def made our experience that much more amazing. From the monster drop, to jumping in the river and going over a fall solo. Couldn't ask for a better experience for a first time rafting. The photos were def worth the purchase too. Memories that... Had a fun filled adventure with raft about or river rats. I have done a lot of white water rafting before so had no high expectations but this was definitely the best one I have got to do. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

We had a group of 7 with varing levels of experience rafting. Part of the group opted for sledging and part opted for Rafting. The Sledging folks enjoyed themselves imensly. They were thouroughly exhausted at the end of the trip. Those of us in the raft all felt the trip was short, but it is an awesome experience. We did... More

As first time rafters we did the Kaituna waterfall excursion. This was a great introduction to rafting and my girlfriend and I had a great time. The experience left us wanting to go again maybe trying a half day trip next time. With great facilities at the shop for getting changed and preparing and with friendly helpful staff it was... More

We opted for the sledging trip to try something new at a cost of $129 per person. The trip actually begins at the foot of the waterfall on the Kaituna river and ends at the same spot as the rafters. The staff are all friendly and the equipment and safety is good but we couldn't have been in the water... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Its good to hear that you thought the trip was safe and the staff were friendly. It is disappointing to hear that you did not think the trip provided value for money. The most common response that we get from customers on this trip is that it was harder than... More

Oh, it was such a good day. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. We started at 9AM. We had 2 guides with us, one of which was just practicing. So we were 6 people in a raft. We followed the instructions, we paddled fast, we hit every possible rock on our way and we laughed loud. Yes, it was... More

If you like rapids, this is your tour. The YouTube video gives you a good sense of the trip. You are only in the water 45-minutes, but it is exciting all the way through. You are given a wetsuit and rubber shoes. You just need your swimsuit and a towel. You can rent a towel if you forget ($2). They... More
