Pleasant way to see some falls

Visited earlier this week and enjoyed the very relaxed feel and the tame duck that seemed deterimined to get into my photos! Worth a visit:-)

A great detour. Only takes a few minutes to get to off the main road, there is a car park on the north side of the falls. Easy to walk right to the edge of the falls, and there appears to be a few hiking trails, but we did not follow them. We did have a few of our group... More

A lovely, but small waterfall. It was the height of summer and I imagine it would be more spectacular in the winter months after rain. The falls is not far off the main road and easily accessible, so a must do with only a small time commitment.

We were on a tour that stopped here. The water is a fantastic colour , a real icy turquoise the day we were there. There were Jet Boats too, so you must be able to do rides from somewhere near.

This waterfall is fairly small, but there is a bit of a nature walk adjacent. While easily acccessible and close to the main road out of town, you can also travel back to Paihia along more rural roads with great views of the Bay of Islands and Waitangi Treaty Grounds

Must stop if traveling near. Even with minimal water its very well worth a visit, with a good waterflow it would be awesome.

It was a nice place to visit but not overwhelmingly so like other places in New Zealand. Easily accessible from the road

Not the most impressive waterfalls. A great deal is made about these falls but I'm glad I didn't walk from Paihia.I liked Rainbow Falls much more.

Since the rain has not been very generous in Northland the falls were very little falling. Though it is a nice walk along the river side and watch the mangroves and birds along the way.

This was an easy walk to the falls, but being from the Pacific Northwest, where we have high waterfalls all year, this was a tiny attraction. There wasn't very much water going over the falls, so it wasn't very spectacular. Fun for those who don't see waterfalls easily.
