You can get really close up to the waterfall and sit on the rocks right by it! It was cool to see people kayaking right up close to its base as well!

Pretty and popular we got some lovely photos. Although there were some silly tourists getting too close to the edge taking photos. The chickens that greater U.S. In the car park very funny.

We missed it and need to drive back. It is just under the bridge. No parking area, no sign on the road side.

A pleasant short stroll from the carpark to a splendid cascade of water into still deep water. the road bridge above the falls frames the cascade.

These falls are still a favourite and should be a must see for all visitors. But beware the car park is locked at 5pm. It is an easy walk to the falls .

The walk to the falls is probably better than the falls itself. The falls were quite nice to view but the main road above it ruined the atmosphere a little. We walked the Waitangi Track to the falls from Paihia which was beautiful. The walk is quite long (maybe 2 hours at most) but it took us through some amazing... More

It's quite a nice place. Quaint on a nice day. Rough on a bad day. Check out the graffiti under the bridge up river. Pretty old school

Have a look if passing by but don't make too much of an effort to see the falls. Fairly ordinary but may be better if the river flow is up.

The the fall was not as good as I've expected. The fall was short and small. The lake around it would be good for a dip during the summer months.

We stopped by Haruru Falls as part of a local group tour. Unfortunately, during our visit to Paihia, the water levels were fairly low, which probably caused these falls to not be so impressive during our visit. To be honest, there are many other more impressive waterfalls in New Zealand (we saw an impressive one in Wairere Falls, which is... More
