What a great place for the kids, I took a 9 and a 5 year old, and they both had such a great day. There were some really tough daring things for my 9 year old to do, and my youngest was quite happy with the smaller trapeze and the trampolines. We were there in quite bad weather but it... More

What a blast. Felt a bit out of place as a 46 year father lining up with the kids to do the trapeze, but would not have missed the opportunity to try it out.

Too hot and very little shade for parents, and having to pay the spectator price was a bit off. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, left Dad to action world and went into town as wasn't prepared to pay more to watch my kids

Hi there, Thank you fopr the review but I feel I need to point out that we have seating under shade for around 150 people. On the rare occasion where we have been so busy that we run out of shade we bring out extra chairs and tables for people to sit under the trees. And if we allowed spectators... More

So, I must admit that when we pulled up to Action World, I was a little unimpressed by how it looked. I had envisioned something much larger from the advertisements. But, I was quickly wowed and amazed! My children were able to do stunts that made it feel like we were in a circus training camp. The older children (ages... More

My girls loved Action World. They are daredevils so had an absolute ball. Less confident children would struggle a bit on a lot of the high up stuff. On the downside was no café. They could make a killing if they provided food and drinks. There was a wee table selling potato chips and water but a bit pricey. Plan... More

Hi Victoria, At the risk of boring Trip Advisor readers I am going to repeat what I previously wrote in another response. We have had a cafe in the past but it did not work out You see - when we opened the park we wanted it to be the most affordable and best possible experience for families and thus... More

We are visiting from the U.K. and came to the park with our kiwi friends. Overall a super day out with the kids that challenged their comfort zones- 'amazing' in the kids words! A real shame that there was not a cafe facility at the park or at least a place to buy an ice cream or even a coffee!... More

Hi there, Sorry for the late reply but we are just coming out of the busiest month of the year for us. I will respond to all your points: NOT ALLOWED OUT: We have had a long history of experimentation with this and unfortunately there are always less-than-honest people ready to exploit a chance of a free entry. Yes we... More

It's a fantastic idea and amazing activities that I've never seen anywhere else in NZ. However we arrived about 11 am and asked if we could leave to go and have lunch and come back and were told no. Surely you can stamp people's hands or have a band on your wrist like they do at Rainbow's End and so... More

Action world was a great place for the adventurous, with plenty of things for people of all ages and abilities to do. It is very obvious that safety is paramount, with air bags to fall into, but in no way did this limit the fun you could have. My favourites would have to have been the trapeze and the crazy... More
