Nature Cruise With Kayaking to Waterfalls designed for all age's & great value, Perfect for first timers & experienced kayakers. A Safe whitewater experience with lots of wildlife, Boat Cruise, Local history & Great photo opportunities.

We cruise on our vessel along our calm coastline up a meandering river where guests then transfer to kayaks to explore up close, paddle through mangrove forests or photograph a colony of sea birds that nest in trees hanging over the river, then onto our final destination where a waterfall drops into the sea.

At the waterfall the fun & adrenaline starts, here even first timers can safely experience paddling in foaming white water or even kayak under the waterfall itself.

We are an All Age Adventure with mother boat on hand: Our warm vessel is on hand to give you or family a rest if you need.

We work hard & realise the importance of customer satisfaction, good value & having fun.

'Day Cruise & Kayak' Cruise operates at 11am.

'Twilight Safari" Cruise operates at 4pm.

'Night Safari' Cruise operates at 7pm.

Our 7 Points of Difference:

* Extreme Value

* Safer, Boat on hand

* More time for kayaking

* Rest when you or your family want

* Fast Sit on Kayaks that don't Trap you

* Sit on kayaks allow you to go under the Waterfalls

We did this during a cruise ship visit to the Bay of Islands. Unfortunately the waterfall did not look anything life the photo. If this is the same waterfall, the water flow was far less. The boat cruise component was very short and in a very small boat. There were no toilet facilities except for "peeing off the boat" as... More

Had an amazing couple of hours with Tom and Taylor and Ruby who helped us process our booking! Such a nice experience Kayaking at night, and the waterfalls are deceptively tame looking. Perfect for a raining evening as we were already soaking, and the water was strangely warm.... 100% recommendation!

We had a great day with Deanne and the team kayaking through the mangroves and to the waterfall. Morning Tea at the local resort on the way back followed plus a local story. Great day and well worth the cost.

Although not listed as a service they provide, Ruby picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the pick up location, this just explains the excellent service you will receive. The tour guides for the Night Safari are fun and very knowledgeable, a fantastic experience. The only thing I would recommend, is to improve on the photo taking... More

Great staff, super friendly and enthusiastic. The river itself is not a particularly scenic or exciting place to paddle, but the waterfall at the end was awesome - there was a storm the day before we did the night kayak so it was really gushing, heaps of fun to paddle through. But apparently during most of summer it dries up... More

We did a morning kayaking tour. The company (Ruby) was great to deal with.The fellas running it are super enthusiastic and friendly. Very knowledgeable too about the area. We went under a small waterfall, lots of fun. Had a short break with yummy muffins. When the kids got tired they went back in the boat while the rest of us... More

Depending upon weather and the season as to the flow of water from the falls and the wildlife you may see while kayaking. We had a smaller falls than what shows in many of the photos others have posted, but it was still fun. Most ever place required a reservation for 2, as the kayaks are 2 person set ups.... More

Had a great day kayaking to waterfalls with our guide, Tom. Only eight in our group so tour was at our own pace and more time to kayak/swim under waterfall than some other tour groups/companies. Kayaks easy to paddle and although a Brit, Tom was very knowledgeable about the area and some Maori legends.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking adventure. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the area and going under the waterfall. It was a bit pricey for the duration, but overall still a great experience.
