We went out in the mac attack thinking we would get some thrills. However, mostly it is a fast boat. We had a good time, got to go through the hole in the rock and inside a cave. Something you won't do on one of the other tours. It was not very choppy but quite windy. They give you long... More

We have gone on other jet boat tours and were hoping that this one would be as fun as the ones that we had been on in other cities. Mack Attack is definitely fast, but that's really all it is--fast. They don't really do any tricks or spins like other fast boats we have taken. I was hoping for a... More

You get wet no matter how hard you try not to, so wrap up well and enjoy it - but take some sunglasses to keep the spray out of your eyes and stash a change of clothes in the car. If you have back problems then stay home - you won't like it. If you get seasick at all, then... More

We really enjoyed this quick boat ride to the "Hole in the Rock" & Cape Brett. We were lucky the day we went the bay was pretty calm. Once we reached the open sea there were a few swells and that was very exciting. Highly recommended especially for people who don't have a great deal of time in Paihai. This... More

I enjoyed having the wind in my hair as we boated out to the hole in the rock. The 1.5 hour cruise met my needs perfectly on this day and I appreciated the other scenic stops. It was thrilling when the friver took the boat into a cave, then turned around and drove out. It was also cool to drive... More

Exhilirating, fun, very enjoyable and a great way to travel around the bay of islands on a time frame and for those who are prone to see sickness. Best thing about it though, is that this speed boat is small enough to go INSIDE the cave next to the hole in the rock ... unlike the other cruise boats. Well... More

Safety is clearly paramount right from the start. We sat right up front and we got the wettest. The Aussies on board hid down the back but the Kiwis (as always) got the best ride. Aussies, you have to love them. Skipper was fun, boat was faster than it seemed and the entire trip was awesome. Recommend as a "must... More

Decided we wanted to see a few of the Islands and the hole in the rock! Got to sit up front and view was amazing... The hour and a half ride let us see lots...Staff very friendly and had a good laugh with us. Felt very safe and loved every minute of it. Thanks Mack Attack! More

Mack Attack is a powerful jet boat that takes you out to the hole in the rock and back 1 1/2 hours. We arrived ready for our trip concerned about the weather. There was a strong wind and the sea was choppy. We were kitted out in thick wet weather gear and life vests. The boat started out slowly in... More
